Advanced Level-----two photos
Painted into a scooped bowl, these lemons look very real. This design was published in the Artist's Journal. Techniques include broken background preparation, wet into wet, drybrush, and glazing.
These chic pansies are dry brushed with a deer foot stippler. A rake or fur brush would do as well. Crackle and wet into wet techniques were used over a stained background to give it some "shabby" charm.

Paint a wine caddy and the glasses with this free hand pattern. There are three photos and a step sheet to aid you. Using a small round stencil sponge makes quick work of the grapes.
